Fire engines have rushed to a block of flats in Perth’s Letham area to tackle a blaze.

Residents were reportedly evacuated after a fire started at a block of flats on Strathtay Road.
Fire engines from Perth and Dunkeld raced to the block just before 10am and a height vehicle from Dundee is also in attendance.
A SFRS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9.52am.
“Three appliances attended from Perth, Dunkeld and Dundee, including the high reach appliance.
“A fuse box fire was extinguished by officers using breathing apparatus and a hose reel.
“We left at 11.36am. Nobody was injured.”
